Dr. Louis Kuritzky is a family physician and clinical faculty member at the Family Medicine Residency program of North Florida Regional Medical Center, Gainesville, FL. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA and completed his internship at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.
Dr. Kuritzky is board certified in family practice and certified by the American Society of Hypertension as a Specialist in Hypertension. He is Clinical Assistant Professor Emeritus with the Department of Community Health and Family Medicine at the University of Florida School of Medicine, Gainesville. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Society of Hypertension, the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Kuritzky has contributed to more than 100 publications, including the New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA. He has presented hundreds of educational presentations on diverse topics to healthcare professionals all over the United States as well as abroad.
