Lucinda Harris, MD

Dr. Lucinda Harris is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Mayo School of Medicine and consultant for the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. She graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and has been in practice for 32 years.

Dr. Harris is past co-director of the Motility Group at Mayo Clinic and has led a patient-support group there for IBS. Her clinical and research interests are in IBS, chronic constipation, pelvic floor disorders, and celiac disease, and she has written and lectured extensively on these topics. A current member of the Gastroenterology Fellowship committee, she serves as the education coordinator for the Division of Gastroenterology at Mayo Clinic, supervising visiting gastrointestinal fellows and medical students.

Dr. Harris is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American College of Internal Medicine. She is also a member of the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders and the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society.

Dr. Harris is a paid consultant of Allergan and is being provided funding from Allergan in exchange for her participation as a member on the IBS CounSEL.
